The MHPSS Collaborative, together with Peace of Mind Foundation, Global Mental Health Action Network, UNICEF, MHPSS.net, Terres des hommes, Save the Children Netherlands, and Mental Health Innovation Network, is developing a donor brief with practical recommendations on how to prioritize and allocate funding for MHPSS in emergencies, with a focus on localization and integration.
As part of this work, we are looking for short case studies from implementers, local organizations, donors, or partnerships with real experience of localizing or integrating MHPSS in emergency or humanitarian settings.
We want to hear about what worked, what choices you faced, and what you learned. For example: how your organization adapted programming when funding was cut, how a local-first partnership model was set up and sustained, how MHPSS was embedded into health, education, or protection services, or what funding arrangements made integration or localization possible.
We aim to include up to 4 case studies in the final brief. Submissions will be assessed against our inclusion criteria, and selected case studies will be featured with full acknowledgment of contributing organizations.
Deadline: 15 March
Submit your case study here: Prioritizing localization and integration: Recommendations for funding MHPSS in emergencies
