This webinar marks the official launch of the Integrating youth leadership into MHPSS responses in humanitarian emergencies research. The research highlights the critical but often overlooked role of youth leadership in MHPSS responses during humanitarian crises, as well as key principles and strategies for promoting meaningful youth leadership. The webinar features a case study example from Isaac Olufadewa related to his work with youth in Nigeria, in particular with the organization Slum and Rural Health Initiative Network as well as a roundtable discussion with researchers Shruti Lal, Paul Klahre and Eric Dagadu highlighting the findings and recommendations from the research.
This research is the result of a collaboration between the MHPSS Collaborative and postgraduate students at the Geneva Graduate Institute.
