Podcast: Placing mental health and psychosocial support at the heart of the humanitarian agenda (The Humanitarian Leadership Academy)
With the global mental health crisis affecting one in four people, and a growing emphasis being placed on the need for mental health and psychosocial support services for communities impacted by crisis – the need for MHPSS is more urgent than ever.
What I’ve learned and come to learn over the years is that the element of mental health and psychosocial wellbeing, it really is a question and a matter that touches every sphere of life – Marie Dahl, Director of The MHPSS Collaborative
Our Director Marie Dahl and Youth Engagement Advisor Victor Ugo spoke to Ka Man Parkinson about the Collaborative’s work to enhance the mental health and wellbeing of children, youth, and families in adversity – touching on the importance language, the need for localization and increased youth engagement, and understanding emerging challenges.

And it I think, for us, is the one thing that would drive cross sectoral integration and collaboration – Dr Victor Ugo, MHPSS and Youth Advisor at The MHPSS Collaborative
